Job summary

ASA Talent zoekt een parttime Warehouse Operative voor DHL Express in Den Hoorn. Je werkt in een logistieke omgeving met vaste ochtenddiensten en minimaal drie shifts per week. Vanaf dag één ontvang je onboarding en on-the-job training om je vaardigheden te ontwikkelen.

Je taken omvatten het laden/lossen van zendingen, sorteren van pakketten, het bouwen en laden van containers en het waarborgen van veiligheid en kwaliteit. Teamwerk en duidelijke communicatie staan centraal in elke shift.

Qualifications

• Geen minimale opleiding vereist.
• Beheersing van Engels is vereist.

Responsibilities

• Inbound en outbound zendingen laden en lossen en labels controleren.
• Pakketten sorteren op postcode en bestemming en klaarzetten voor verzending.
• Containers bouwen en laden; gewicht veilig tillen en stapelen.
• Veiligheid en kwaliteit bewaken; volg til- en veiligheidsprocedures.
• Teamwerk: korte briefing aan het begin van elke shift en samenwerking met collega’s.

You’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience in logistics, a sector with plenty of opportunities to grow. You’ll learn how to work with clear processes, deadlines and quality standards used across the logistics industry. The fixed morning shifts also give you plenty of freedom for the rest of your day. Whether you’re studying, looking after your family or working another job, you can easily fit this role around your schedule. From day one, you’ll receive proper onboarding and on-the-job training. As you gain experience, you can continue developing your skills and explore other opportunities within logistics or DHL.

Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative

• Inbound and outbound shipments: You’ll load and unload vans and trucks, check shipment labels and place packages in the right location so every shipment enters the correct process.
• Sorting packages: You’ll sort packages by postcode and destination, making sure each container or roll cage is correctly prepared and ready to leave on time.
• Building and loading containers: You’ll prepare roll cages, stack packages safely and securely, and make sure everything is ready for the next step in the delivery process.
• Safety and quality: You’ll keep an eye out for damaged packages, follow safety procedures and use the correct lifting techniques to work safely and responsibly.
• Working as a team: Each shift starts with a short team briefing where you’ll go over the planning and priorities for the morning. You’ll work closely with your colleagues and help each other complete the sorting process on time.

Wat we bieden

• Hourly pay: From €15.30 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay: Get your salary paid into your account every week
• Flexible working hours: Fixed morning shifts, with a minimum of three shifts per week
• Holiday allowance: 8% holiday pay plus 10% holiday hours on every hour worked
• Extra benefits: 6.24% flexible benefits budget and €0.23 travel allowance per kilometre

Wat we van je vragen

• Monday morning availability: You’re available every Monday from 07:00 to 10:00.
• Additional availability: You’re available for at least two additional morning shifts per week.
• Location: You live near Den Hoorn and can travel to the workplace independently.
• Physically fit: You’re comfortable handling and lifting packages weighing up to 20 kg.
• Language skills: You have a basic understanding of Dutch or English for day-to-day communication with your team.
