Job summary

JobTailor is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse activities for a major customer, ensuring smooth inbound, storage, outbound, and value-added services.

You will drive continuous improvement, forecast workload, coach teams, and collaborate with supervisors and team leads to optimize HR processes and performance. This role demands strong English communication, adaptability, and a proven track record in 3PL environments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a 3PL warehouse environment.
• A strong and resilient personality with the ability to adapt to change and inspire teams while driving operational excellence
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), management information, KPIs, and operational reporting

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily warehouse operations for one of our largest customers, including inbound, storage, outbound, and value-added services
• Work closely with various departments to drive continuous improvement across the operation
• Responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of logistics operations, including planning, inbound, quality control, storage, order picking, value-added services, and outbound activities
• Identify deviations, discuss them with the two Supervisors, six Team Leads, and supporting departments, and facilitate constructive meetings focused on effective solutions
• Forecast workload based on the customer's daily, weekly, and monthly demand, and ensure the operation is adequately staffed
• Initiating and implementing improvements to both physical and administrative logistics processes
• Coaching and developing employees, leading team meetings, and managing HR-related matters such as performance reviews, absence management, and employee development plans
