Job summary

GEODIS Venlo zoekt een Warehouse Employee die verantwoordelijk is voor de eindcontrole van orders voordat deze verzonden worden. Je voert kwaliteitscontroles uit en pakt orders in voor verzending, met aandacht voor juistheid en veiligheid.

Je werkt in een dynamische omgeving in Venlo, 32–40 uur per week, dagdienst met reiskostenvergoeding vanaf 10 km. Mogelijkheid tot vaste aanstelling bij goed functioneren.

Qualifications

• Je werkt 32–40 uur per week.
• Je kunt zelfstandig en nauwkeurig werken.
• Je spreekt Engels en/of Nederlands.
• Je bent flexibel binnen de dagdienst.
• Je hebt eigen vervoer.
• Ervaring in magazijn/logistiek is een pluspunt.

Responsibilities

• Controleren of bestellingen compleet en correct zijn.
• Kwaliteitscontrole uitvoeren op producten.
• Producten controleren op beschadiging.
• Orders verpakken en voorbereiden voor verzending.
• Fouten of beschadigde producten melden.
• Samenwerken met andere magazijnmedewerkers.
• Een veilige en nette werkplek houden.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Employee, you work in the final stage of the logistics process. Your main responsibility is checking orders before they are shipped to the customer.

Your daily tasks include:

• Checking whether orders are complete and correct;
• Performing quality checks on products;
• Checking products for damage;
• Packing and preparing orders for shipment;
• Reporting errors or damaged products;
• Working together with other warehouse employees;
• Keeping your workplace safe and organized.

Wat we je bieden

You can expect:

• An hourly wage of €14.99 to €16.20 gross;
• A warehouse job for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• Working in day shifts between 06:30 and 18:00;
• Travel allowance from 10 km, up to €12.50 per day;
• Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment;
• Possibility to be taken over directly by GEODIS;
• More than 500 training courses to develop your skills.

• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• You can work independently and accurately;
• You speak English and/or Dutch;
• You are flexible within the day-shift schedule;
• You have your own transport;
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.

Experience with quality control is an advantage, but not required.
