Job summary

GEODIS in Venlo zoekt een Warehouse Employee die in de eindfase van het logistieke proces orders controleert voordat ze verzonden worden. Je controleert of orders compleet en correct zijn, voert kwaliteitscontroles uit en scant op beschadigingen.

Daarnaast pak je orders in, rapporteert fouten, werk je samen met collega’s en houd je de werkplek netjes en veilig. Er is een tijdelijke overeenkomst met kans op vast dienstverband en mogelijke directe overname door GEODIS; trainingen worden aangeboden.

Qualifications

• Je spreekt Engels en/of Nederlands.
• Ervaring in een magazijn of logistieke omgeving is een pré.

Responsibilities

• Controleren of orders compleet en correct zijn.
• Kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren op producten.
• Producten controleren op beschadigingen.
• Orders inpakken en voorbereiden voor verzending.
• Fouten of beschadigde producten melden.
• Samenwerken met collega’s in het magazijn.
• Zorg dragen voor een schone en veilige werkplek.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Employee, you work in the final stage of the logistics process. Your main responsibility is checking orders before they are shipped to the customer.

Your daily tasks include:

• Checking whether orders are complete and correct;
• Performing quality checks on products;
• Checking products for damage;
• Packing and preparing orders for shipment;
• Reporting errors or damaged products;
• Working together with other warehouse employees;
• Keeping your workplace safe and organized.

Wat we je bieden

You can expect:

• An hourly wage of €14.99 to €16.20 gross;
• A warehouse job for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• Working in day shifts between 06:30 and 18:00;
• Travel allowance from 10 km, up to €12.50 per day;
• Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment;
• Possibility to be taken over directly by GEODIS;
• More than 500 training courses to develop your skills.

• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• You can work independently and accurately;
• You speak English and/or Dutch;
• You are flexible within the day-shift schedule;
• You have your own transport;
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.

Experience with quality control is an advantage, but not required.
