Job summary

GEODIS is gevestigd in Venlo en zoekt een nauwkeurige en proactieve teamspeler voor logistieke taken in een internationale omgeving. Je werkt met een EPT, pakt en verpakt orders en controleert op kwaliteit.

De rol vereist duidelijke communicatie in een team, fysieke inzet en naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften. Een tijdelijke aanstelling met kans op een vast contract wordt geboden, met doorgroeimogelijkheden en trainingen.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in logistiek of orderpicking.
• Kennis van EPT; certificering is een plus.

• Fysieke conditie voor magazijntaken.

Responsibilities

Wat je gaat doen

As an orderpicker/packer, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse in Venlo. Your role involves working with an EPT (electric pallet truck) to efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. This position is active and hands-on, requiring precision, teamwork, and a structured approach to ensure high-quality results. You'll be part of an international team where collaboration and mutual support are key to achieving daily goals.

• Order picking: accurately collect items based on order lists using an EPT.
• Packing and labeling: prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and secure packaging.
• Quality control: check items for accuracy, quantity, and condition before dispatch.
• Warehouse organization: maintain a clean and safe workspace by following established processes and safety guidelines.
• Team collaboration: work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and meet deadlines.

• Hourly wage between €14.98 and €15.58, based on experience.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Full-time role (32-40 hours per week) in day shifts.
• Travel allowance starting from 10 km, up to €11.50/day.

• Experience in logistics or order picking is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPT; certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and structured work approach.
• Physically fit and capable of performing warehouse tasks.
• Available for shifts from 09:00 to 18:00, with one full week every three weeks from 07:30 to 18:00.
