Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Admin to support processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner. You will handle administrative tasks for the warehouse and help ensure documentation is accurate and fully digitized.

The role requires literacy and numeracy, basic math, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. English language skills are essential and prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent level of education and thinking.
• Literacy & numeracy.
• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Knowledge of air freight regulations is desirable.
• Reach/ counterbalance Truck essential.
• Be thorough, pay attention to detail.
• Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring documentation for shipments stored within the warehouse is up-to-date, complete and fully digitized.
• Checking and registering shipment documentation and confirming receival to shipping companies.
• Support where needed with tracking of shipments.
• Support the warehouse with the creation and adjusting of documentation with regards to handling and splitting shipments.
• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skills required.
• Ensure all data required for invoicing is captured in the system.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies.
• All other duties as required by the business.

Overview

We are looking for aWarehouse Admin to strengthen our team. In this role, you support processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, with high efficiency, and focus on customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Admin role provides administrative tasks for and within the Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring documentation for shipments stored within the warehouse is up-to-date,completeand fully digitized. This includes ensuring supplier invoices are received, CMR’s areuploadedand all related costs are captured in the system.

• Checking and registering shipment documentation and confirming receival to shipping companies.

• Support where needed with tracking of shipments.

• Support the warehouse with the creation andadjustingof documentation with regards to handling and splitting shipments.

• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skillsrequired.

• Ensure all datarequiredfor invoicing is captured in the system.

• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies.

• All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demandsdeemnecessary.

• Following instructions to execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).

• Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions andpossible improvements.
