Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to process shipments safely and efficiently, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will load and unload trucks, pull and stage outbound goods, and operate a sit-down forklift while following safety policies and maintaining accuracy in documentation. This role requires basic math, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring operational excellence, high efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Sorting, packing, loading, and unloading freight and managing shortages/damages with a CDR report prepared.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks
• Pull and stage outbound goods using loading manifest
• Check in/load out domestic and international freight
• Put freight away in designated areas
• Drive sits down forklift (electrical or propane) in a safe and efficient manner
• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skills required
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies
• Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
• All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable)
• Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and possible improvements
