Job summary

Share is hiring a VP & Staff Software Engineer to own critical technical domains like the payments pipeline and billing engine. In this senior individual contributor role, you will work closely with the CTO and a small team to develop systems that manage real financial transactions for ISP partners.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend engineering, particularly in financial systems, and will be comfortable making architectural decisions. A passion for AI-augmented workflows is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in backend systems handling real financial transactions.
• Production experience with payment gateway integrations and understanding STK push flows.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, able to design schemas for financial data and reason about transaction isolation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the payments pipeline, billing engine, and integration layer.
• Make architectural decisions and write production code.
• Work directly with the CTO and a small team to ship production systems.
