Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct line management experience leading technical or hybrid teams.
• Solid understanding of payments — familiar with card schemes, payment integrations, and API-based flows.
• Strong communicator with ability to influence across Product, Engineering, Commercial and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a global team of Payment Partner Engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
• Define and drive vision for the Payments Partner Engineering function, shifting from reactive issues to proactive partnership and performance ownership.
• Own integration health across the payment method portfolio, ensuring reliability and performance metrics.
• Drive architectural recommendations to optimize partner integrations and merchant value.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Compliance, and Reliability teams to represent the technical voice of the partner.
• Establish relationships with payment partners at senior levels and engage in QBRs and planning.
