DSV - Global transport and logistics seeks a VP, Global Contract Logistics Vertical Head, Automotive to shape the commercial growth of the Automotive vertical within Contract Logistics globally. You will connect strategy, customer relationships and international teams to deliver sustainable growth.

You will lead Global Account Directors and Business Development Managers, translating strategic direction into actionable plans, aligning regions and driving revenue, margin and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Significant commercial leadership experience, typically 10 to 15 years, within global supply chain and logistics.
• Proven experience managing large, complex customer portfolios and delivering sustainable growth across multiple regions.
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills at senior customer and stakeholder level.
• Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• A relevant university degree, providing you with a strong analytical and professional foundation.

As VP, Global Contract Logistics Vertical Head, Automotive, you lead Global Account Directors and Business Development Managers and translate the strategic direction of the vertical into tangible commercial results: you're on it.

How do you do this? You build strong relationships with global Automotive customers, drive commercial excellence and ensure alignment across regions, functions and business units.

You achieve this by:

• leading and inspiring a global team of Global Account Directors and Business Development Managers, focused on customer experience and growth;
• translating the strategic direction of the Automotive vertical into actionable commercial plans for global accounts;
• working closely with regional and functional leaders and the Enterprise Vertical Lead to align global strategy with local execution;
• monitoring performance and driving revenue, margin and customer satisfaction targets;
• fostering collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement across the global account organisation.

Your team stands out within DSV through its international scope and direct impact on our largest Automotive customers. You report to the Global CCO of the Contract Logistics Division and directly lead Global Account Directors and Business Development Managers.

You bring

• a relevant university degree, providing you with a strong analytical and professional foundation;
• significant commercial leadership experience, typically 10 to 15 years, within global supply chain and logistics;
• proven experience managing large, complex customer portfolios and delivering sustainable growth across multiple regions;
• excellent relationship management and negotiation skills at senior customer and stakeholder level;
