Job summary

Responsibilities

• planning and coordinating international road transport to and from various European countries
• requesting quotations, selecting the most suitable carrier, and creating smart and cost-efficient transport plans
• processing transport orders in our Transport Management System (ITMS) and monitoring shipments throughout the transport process
• maintaining daily contact with customers, drivers, and carriers to ensure shipments run smoothly
• handling transport documentation and responding to emails and phone calls

Every day, hundreds of shipments leave for destinations across Europe. As a Junior Transport Coordinator at DSV, you create efficient transport plans, stay in close contact with customers and carriers, and contribute to a seamless logistics operation. Take ownership; You’re on it.

How you do this? From day one, you are part of the team and learn the job from experienced colleagues. Using our Transport Management System (TMS), you will plan international shipments, select the right carriers, request transport rates, and support the coordination of efficient logistics solutions. As you gain experience, you take on more responsibility and develop into an independent transport planner. You achieve this by:
