We’re the Empowerment Foundation – a volunteer-run organisation that’s all heart (and spreadsheets). Our mission? To help unemployed international professionals in the Netherlands gain access to the kind of career support that usually gets blocked by price tags or language barriers. Think coaching, job prep, community and resources – all in plain English and all made with love.

The Role

We’re looking for a few reliable, creative Social Media Assistants to help us execute our social media campaigns – not design the strategy from scratch. You don’t need 30 years of experience and a fancy personal brand (though go you if you do). If you know your way around Canva and can confidently post to Instagram and LinkedIn – we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating and scheduling engaging posts for Instagram and LinkedIn
• Designing graphics on Canva based on existing brand guidelines
• Writing captions that connect with our international audience
• Showing up for team check-ins (virtually, in your slippers is fine)
• Bringing your own ideas to the table – we love initiative!
• Have at least 1 year of experience running social media for yourself or a project
• Are fluent in Canva and can whip up a graphic without crying
• Know the difference between a reel and a carousel
• Enjoy working in a collaborative team and can commit a few hours a week
• Believe in making career access more equitable for internationals
