Job summary

The Rebyl, part of Odyssey Hotel Group in Nijmegen, is seeking a Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and present breakfast dishes to high standards, and work closely with service staff to ensure a welcoming start to guests’ days.

You will maintain freshness of the breakfast offerings, manage mise-en-place, and uphold HACCP and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment. Opportunity to contribute to a dynamic F&B operation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Breakfast Cook or similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present breakfast dishes to high standards.
• Maintain a fresh, well-stocked breakfast buffet.
• Organize mise-en-place for efficient service.
• Monitor quality, freshness, and portion control.
• Ensure hygienic workstation and HACCP compliance.
• Assist with lunch prep and other kitchen tasks when needed.
• Report equipment issues to Sous Chef or Head Chef.
