Job summary

LYNX is seeking a creative, versatile Web & UX/UI Designer to enhance marketing through exceptional user experiences across landing pages, emails, and digital ads. You will blend visual design with technical web skills in a WordPress environment (Gutenberg) and work with CRO analysts to translate data into scalable templates.

Based in Amsterdam, you will collaborate with PM Thijs, marketing and compliance teams, delivering conversion-driven pages and dynamic email templates.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the Netherlands, location Amsterdam.
• Fluent Dutch language skills are mandatory.
• Portfolio with case design and experience in ads, web and email design.

LYNX is seeking a creative, versatile Web & UX/UI Designer to enhance our marketing efforts by designing and building exceptional user experiences across various digital touch points. This role demands not only strong visual design skills but also technical capability in web and email development. You'll be integral in creating compelling user experiences that drive conversions across our landing pages, emails, and digital ads.

Responsibilities

• Landing Page & Web Design:
  Design, create, and implement high-converting, visually engaging landing pages and web experiences tailored to optimize user interaction and conversion.
• Interactive & Animated Elements:
  Develop dynamic, interactive, and animated design elements that boost user engagement.
• Email Design & Development:
  Design and build responsive, visually appealing, and effective email templates, ensuring consistent performance across platforms.
• Advertising & Marketing Graphics:
  Create visually appealing and effective advertising graphics optimized for various digital marketing channels.
• Full Stack Delivery:
  Own the full design and development life cycle, from initial design concepts to building and launching pages within a customized WordPress environment using Gutenberg.
• Data-Driven Design:
  Work closely with our CRO/Web Analyst to translate insights from data and testing into design improvements and scalable templates.
• Collaboration:
  Work effectively in a cross-functional squad with PMs (specifically PM Thijs), CRO analysts, marketers, and compliance. Adapt rapidly to evolving requirements, iterating on designs as needed.
• Compliance Awareness:
  Since we are in a regulated industry, ensure that designs are not only creative but also compliant with industry guidelines.

Skills & Expertise

• Proven experience in an advertising agency, design studio, or startup environment.
• Must have a portfolio and execute a case design.
• Proven expertise in designing and building conversion-driven web pages and landing pages.
• Ability to integrate interactive and animated elements that enhance user engagement.
• Proficiency in responsive email design and development.
• Familiarity with dynamic, interactive, and animated design elements.
• Strong experience working within WordPress (Gutenberg editor).
• Proficiency with design and development tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML/CSS, and preferably After Effects for animations.
• Able to work with and contribute to a design system.
• Adaptable to evolving project requirements and effective at collaborating with stakeholders.
• AI tool use: Owns the future of design by using and advocating the use of AI tools.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with product management teams.
• Portfolio showcasing successful projects in web design, email design, and advertising graphics.
