Nedap is seeking an Interim UI/UX Designer for an early‑phase innovation initiative in Groenlo, NL. You will lead discovery, translate insights into concepts, and validate directions with customers and users, shaping opportunities for further development.

The role is hybrid, involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and starts as a fixed-term project with potential extension. Salary sits in the €4,100–€5,300 monthly range (Scale VIII).

Qualifications

• Several years hands-on experience in UX/Product Design with discovery and prototyping.
• Confident leading interviews, workshops, usability and contextual research with professionals.
• Turn customer problems and business needs into hypotheses, user flows, journeys, and testable concepts.
• Move work forward in a small team with broad responsibilities and evolving direction.
• Communicate clearly, challenge assumptions with respect, and collaborate with product, data, and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct interviews, workshops, and contextual research with customers and professional users.
• Translate needs, workflows, challenges, and business considerations into clear opportunity areas and design questions.
• Create user flows, concepts, and interactive prototypes that allow the team and customers to respond to concrete possibilities.
• Design and run experiments, synthesize feedback, and sharpen, redirect, or stop ideas when the evidence calls for it.
• Work with data, software development, and product management to connect user value, feasibility, and product direction.
