Job summary

vidaXL in Venlo is seeking a Treasury Lead to build and lead the Group Treasury function for a multinational e-commerce organization. You will manage liquidity, cash forecasts, and banking relationships, ensuring strong controls.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years of experience in Treasury or Corporate Finance and is comfortable working as a single contributor in a dynamic environment. The position offers a hybrid work model and various perks including a non-contributory pension.

Job description

As a Treasury Lead, you will build and lead the Group Treasury function for a multinational e-commerce organisation. As well as provide the Group with stable liquidity, clean payments execution, predictable cash forecasts, and minimal bank/FX friction—while maintaining a strong controls environment.

You will

• Own daily global cash positioning, including sweeps, pooling, concentration, and currency balances;
• Produce and continuously improve the 13‑week cash flow forecast (weekly) and a 12‑month liquidity outlook;
• Lead bank strategy, selection, pricing negotiations, and service‑level agreements;
• Own account lifecycle management across all legal entities (open/close/modify/KYC);
• Administer short‑term liquidity tools such as RCFs, overdrafts, credit lines, guarantees, letters of credit, and surety arrangements;
• Reduce operational FX exposure;
• Advise Financial Controllers and SSCs on payment behaviour, settlement risks, term setting, and liquidity impacts;
• Deliver weekly cash dashboards, forecasting variance analyses, bank fee analysis, and improvement plans to CFO;

You have

• 7–12 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Banking within a multinational environment;
• Deep understanding of multi‑currency cash management, operational FX, and liquidity forecasting;
• Hands‑on experience with banking portals, mandates, payment security, and account lifecycle management;
• Strong knowledge of ICFR, treasury controls, compliance (AML, sanctions), and audit requirements;
• Experience with ERPs, TMS, or payment hubs (e.g., SAP, Stripe, Adyen, etc.);
• Comfort working as a single contributor, building a function from zero;
