Treasury Systems Manager

Due to significant growth within our client's organization, there has been an increased demand within the Treasury activities and we are supporting them to recruit a tech-savvy Treasurer to carry out the role of Treasury Systems Manager.

This role will be working within a well-established and high-performing treasury team located in their central Amsterdam office. You will have significant ownership of overseeing the maintenance, development, and automation of the company's treasury systems. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for implementing and enhancing automated processes within the Treasury function.

The Treasury Systems Manager will work cross-functionally with various stakeholders within the business to manage TMS upgrades, effective functioning of the treasury platforms and lead any new implementations required.

In addition to having a good understanding of Treasury operations, this position also requires a strong technical systems background and excellent project management skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

• System Control and Maintenance, overseeing and maintaining the company's TMS and other systems/tools used by the Treasury department
• Acting as a Super-User and main point of contact for any systems related queries and training to staff
• Identify opportunities to optimize and/or automate particular treasury processes or tools and execute these projects in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage system upgrades and new implementations
• Participate in various Treasury systems projects as part of the wider organization
• Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams to manage the execution of projects effectively
• Provide support to the Treasury department with daily operational tasks when required

Education & Experience:

• Educated with a Bachelor's degree, preferably within Finance, information systems, or similar area
• A professional Cash Management certificate is highly desired
• 4+ years of proven and significant hands-on experience in Treasury Management Systems (TMS) coupled with a deep knowledge of treasury operations such as cash and liquidity management
• Specific knowledge of IT2 TMS is required
• Demonstrable experience in managing system implementations or upgrades
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the skills to process complex information
• Clear communicator with fluency in English is essential
• Ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
• Proactive in learning and adapting to new technologies with a solution-focused mindset
