Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Transportation Decarbonization Specialist II to support the development and scaling of decarbonization initiatives across road, air, and ocean freight. The role focuses on renewable fuels, low-emission solutions, and customer-facing sustainability programs in a global network.

The position collaborates with carriers, fuel providers, and internal teams to drive emissions reductions and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sustainability, logistics, transportation, renewable fuels, supply chain or related field.
• Knowledge of sustainable fuels (SAF, HVO, renewable diesel) and emissions accounting.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and scaling of transportation decarbonization programs across road, air, and ocean freight.
• Assist in developing renewable fuel solutions, including SAF, SMF, HVO, renewable diesel, and other low-emission technologies.
• Collaborate with carriers, fuel suppliers, technology providers, and industry partners to identify and implement emissions reduction opportunities.
• Support qualification and onboarding of sustainable transportation solutions and partners.
• Assist in developing SOPs, implementation guides, and governance processes.
• Collaborate with internal operational teams, procurement, finance, technology, and external partners to deliver sustainability programs.
• Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for expansion and optimization.

Overview

The Transportation Decarbonization Specialist II is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and scaling of decarbonization solutions across AIT's global transportation network. This role focuses on renewable fuels, sustainable transportation solutions, emissions reduction initiatives, and customer-facing sustainability programs across road, air, and ocean freight.

• Assistin developing renewable fuel solutions, including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), sustainable maritime fuel (SMF), HVO, renewable diesel, and other low-emission technologies.
• Collaborate with carriers, fuel suppliers, technology providers, and industry partners to identify and implement emissions reduction opportunities.
• Support qualification and onboarding of sustainable transportation solutions and partners.
• Assistin developing SOPs, implementation guides, and governance processes.
