Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of tooling design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software for tooling design and analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes like injection molding, stamping, casting, or machining.
• Experience with DFM and DFA principles.
• Understanding of tool materials and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes tooling for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborates with production teams to troubleshoot and improve tooling.
• Performs root cause analysis of tooling failures and implements corrective actions.
• Manages tooling procurement, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Develops and maintains tooling documentation, including specifications and drawings.
• Evaluates new tooling technologies and materials for potential use.
