Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Holland, MI is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to design, build, and maintain tooling for production environments.

You will read blueprints, program and operate manual and CNC equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs), and work with engineers to improve tool design and manufacturing efficiency. A high school diploma or GED and an apprenticeship or equivalent experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience operating manual and CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs).

Responsibilities

• Design and build new tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• Repair and maintain existing tooling to ensure production efficiency.
• Operate machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• Interpret blueprints and 3D models to determine tooling requirements.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues affecting manufacturing processes.
• Perform precision measurements to verify tool accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tooling design.
