Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Holland, MI is partnering with manufacturers to identify skilled Tool Room Supervisors. This role leads daily tool room operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time tooling support.

You will oversee maintenance, repair, and fabrication of tooling, train staff, manage inventory, and collaborate with production and engineering to optimize tooling solutions, positioning you for current or upcoming opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing tool room with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Proficient in CNC milling, turning, and grinding operations.
• Strong reading of blueprints, GD&T, and precision measurement tools.
• Experience with inventory management and tooling procurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Manage repair, maintenance, and fabrication of production tooling and equipment.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all tools and machinery.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, fostering a skilled and productive team.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards within the tool room.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to optimize tooling solutions.
