Job summary

BrightStone Group in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Test Manager for a programme renewing the credit assessment of corporate clients at a large Dutch bank. You will oversee testing across the chain from individual components to end-to-end processes before go-live.

Job description

Salary: €6,700 to €7,600 gross a month, plus 8% holiday allowance.

For a large Dutch bank, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager for a programme that is renewing the credit assessment of corporate clients. In an earlier phase of the programme, a legacy system was decommissioned and all spreading and rating activities were migrated to a new chain.

In the current phase, further improvements are being implemented to continue meeting business and regulatory objectives. You make sure this chain, from individual component to end-to-end process, is thoroughly tested before it goes live.

What you will do

You will, among other things, be involved in:

• Delivering a test strategy that covers both the individual components and the full end-to-end chain, through technical testing and business acceptance testing carried out by the teams themselves.
• Executing this test strategy, monitoring its progress, and reporting on status.
• Steering the overarching testing activities, including end-to-end testing and business acceptance testing.
• Ensuring test documentation is created and delivering test reports at the end of each phase.

What you bring

You are structured, a strong communicator, and move easily between content and stakeholders.

You also bring:

• Demonstrated experience setting up and executing test strategies within large-scale programmes, with multiple delivery teams and stakeholders, in a regulated environment.
• Strong experience with (risk based) testing, combined with an understanding of the underlying business process: you understand not only what you are testing, but also what happens functionally.
• Excellent communication skills: you move easily between product owners, developers, testers, and senior stakeholders such as business managers.
• Excellent command of English, spoken and written. Dutch is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience within the banking sector or another regulated financial environment.
• Experience with credit risk or rating model implementations.
