Job description

Are you someone who enjoys figuring out how things work and making sure they work exactly as they should? For a well-known technical organisation in the Eindhoven Brainport region, we're looking for a Tester of High-Tech Modules.

In this role, you'll work with sophisticated electrical modules and cable assemblies that become part of advanced machines used in demanding high-tech industries. You'll be responsible for testing finished products, identifying deviations and making sure everything meets the required quality standards before it moves on to the next stage. It's a hands-on position where electrical knowledge, precision and problem-solving skills come together.

What will you be doing?

As a Tester, you'll work closely with the production and engineering teams. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing electrical and functional tests on modules, cable assemblies and related components.
  • Checking products against technical drawings, specifications, test instructions and quality requirements.
  • Using various hands-on measuring and testing instruments (e.g. multimeter) to verify that products perform correctly.
  • Identifying faults or deviations and investigating their possible causes.
  • Recording test results accurately in the relevant systems and documentation.
  • Working together with colleagues from assembly and engineering when problems arise.
  • Carrying out rework or corrections where necessary.
  • Ensuring that products are delivered according to the required quality and technical standards.
  • Keeping your testing area, equipment and tools organised and in good condition.
  • Working in accordance with applicable safety, quality and production procedures.

You won't simply be following a checklist: you'll become an important link between production and quality, helping ensure that complex technical products are reliable before they reach the customer.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is technically curious, precise and enjoys working with your hands.

Ideally, you bring:

  • A technical education in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Experience with hands-on electrical testing, assembly or troubleshooting is an advantage.
  • The ability to understand electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Affinity with measuring equipment and technical tools.
  • A structured and accurate way of working.
  • The ability to recognise irregularities and think logically about their causes.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude.
  • A strong sense of responsibility for the quality of your work.

No direct experience as a tester? If you have a solid electrical/technical background and are eager to learn, we would also like to hear from you.

What can you expect?

You will join a technically driven organisation working on products and systems for some of the most demanding sectors within the high-tech industry. In return, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary depending on your knowledge and experience.
  • A full-time position in a day-shift environment.
  • Generous holiday entitlement.
  • Travel allowance.
  • Opportunities for training and further professional development.
  • A stable working environment with modern technical facilities.
  • An informal culture with short communication lines.
  • A close team of technically minded colleagues.
  • Plenty of variety in your work and the opportunity to work with complex technology.
  • Regular team and company activities outside of the daily work.
  • Employment conditions in line with the applicable collective labour agreement for the metal and electrical engineering industry.
Why this role?

This is a great opportunity if you want to move beyond routine production work and become involved in testing complex technology that ultimately ends up in high-tech machines.

You will have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, learn from experienced colleagues and play a direct role in ensuring that products meet demanding quality standards.
