Job summary

VHE Industrial Automation, based in Eindhoven, is seeking a dedicated Tester to independently perform testing on cables and electrotechnical modules according to drawings, specifications and test procedures.

You will prepare configurations, conduct safety, functional and visual tests and document findings. You will discuss deviations with production colleagues and analyze returned products to identify defect causes and drive improvements in testing and production processes.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of independent testing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (TPD).
• Knowledge of Ceetis, Python or Omron PLC is a plus.
• Experience testing modules, cables and smaller control cabinets.

Job description

VHE is a high-tech company with approximately 150 colleagues and growing ambitions. As a Tester, you are responsible for independently carrying out testing activities on cables and electrotechnical modules based on technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
Your responsibilities cover the entire process, from preparing and setting up test configurations to performing safety, functional, and visual tests according to customer test specifications. You assess product quality, identify deviations, and carry out repairs where necessary. You document your findings and discuss them with the relevant colleagues within production.
In addition, you analyse products returned for repair in order to determine the cause of defects and contribute to structural improvements in the testing and production process.

What do we expect from you?

• You have an MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience independently testing electrotechnical products.
• You are able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics (TPD).
• Knowledge of or experience with software programs such as Ceetis, Python, or Omron PLC is considered an advantage.
• You have experience testing modules, cables, and smaller control cabinets.
• You are accustomed to working in a high-tech environment.
• You are motivated by making a significant contribution to product quality standards.
• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and work accurately.
• You have good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are solution-oriented, analytical, and above all, a team player.
