Rate: €55 per hour (€440 per day - 40 hours per week)
We're seeking an Associate Test Engineer to join an exciting automotive software validation project in Eindhoven. The successful candidate will support drive testing and validation activities for next-generation vehicle platforms, navigation systems, infotainment features, and connected vehicle technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support vehicle drive-testing activities (valid category B driving license required)
- Execute software, system, and application testing activities
- Identify, document, and report defects and anomalies
- Analyse test results and provide clear feedback to engineering teams
- Prepare test reports and validation documentation
- Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and project stakeholders
- Ensure testing activities meet project quality standards and requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in software testing, QA, validation, or verification activities
- Experience within automotive testing environment
- Experience within embedded software or application testing environments
- Understanding of testing methodologies and processes
- ISTQB Foundation, TMap, or similar testing certification/knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English
- Valid Category B driving licence (own vehicle not required)
- Willingness to travel for testing activities - the role will involve international travel within Europe, Japan and the USA (expenses paid)
- Experience with automotive software validation
- Exposure to navigation, infotainment, telematics, or connected vehicle systems
- Knowledge of ECU testing or automotive electronic systems
- Familiarity with ASPICE or automotive quality standards
- Dutch and/or German language skills
- Experience supporting vehicle or field-testing programmes
