Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Tender Engineer for the Product Line Cables & Pipelines in the Offshore Energy unit. You will support the Tender Manager, organize and manage tender processes from invitation to submittal, and ensure accurate, feasible production estimates through close collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management.

You will work in Gorinchem (NL), bringing 5+ years of experience, a technical degree, and strong English communication to bear on challenging offshore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or project position.
• Experience in offshore energy and/or offshore cable installation is advantageous.
• Customer-focused attitude with strong communication.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solution-driven, hands-on mindset, and collaborative working style.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender processes from invitation receipt to offer submission.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management to develop feasible production estimates.
• Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors as part of tender development.
• Plan and manage project-based and content-based tender activities.
• Prepare and write tender documentation and deliverables.
• Keep up with market developments to identify opportunities for Van Oord.
