Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Tender Engineer in the Product Line Cables & Pipelines to support the tendering process for offshore energy projects. You will assist the Tender Manager from invitation receipt to offer submission, working with ambitious colleagues across the organisation to achieve the best results.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and a customer-minded, collaborative mindset, based in Gorinchem (NL).

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position or project position.
Experience in offshore energy and/or offshore cable installation is advantageous.
Customer minded and a representative attitude.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a solution-driven mindset.
Collaborative way of working with excellent English skills.

Responsibilities

Analyse clients’ requests and develop execution strategies.
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations and Ship Management to draft accurate production estimates.
Liaise with subcontractors in coordination with procurement.
Organise and manage project-based tender processes.
Compile and write tender documentation and deliverables.
Develop expertise by staying informed on market developments and opportunities for Van Oord.
