Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Senior Production Engineer Foundations & WTGs to guide production estimates in tendering or provide project support. You will drive improvements in tendering, monitor execution, and optimize production processes with stakeholders worldwide.

You will lead production decisions, develop dashboards, and ensure alignment with sites and vessels. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a strong mechanical systems interest, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; MSc preferred in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong interest in mechanical systems.
• Ability to work well in a tender team and independently.
• Investigative, creative, structured and flexible approach to work.
• Excellent command of English.
• Willingness to work on projects worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyse large amounts of project data.
• Support tender and project teams in both tendering and implementation.
• Design efficient, competitive production processes including equipment and logistics and manage interdependencies.
• Use and further develop internal software for production estimates.
• Prepare and present deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
• Visit projects and offshore equipment to monitor processes and advise on optimisations.
• Record and share practical knowledge to improve future tenders and project implementation.
