Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Tilburg is seeking a Technician to join their innovative team. You will be responsible for routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing operational improvements in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should have a technical education at MBO level in Mechanical or Electrical fields and a service-oriented mindset. Qualifications

• Technical education at MBO level, preferably in mechatronics.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to handle pressure and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work well in a team and also independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in equipment.
• Implement technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Disassemble and rebuild mechanical components as needed.
• Proactively managing repairs and maintenance for smooth operations.

In this exciting role, you'll be an integral part of our in-house technical team, tackling daily tasks in both mechanical and electrical fields. Our site filled with cutting-edge technology in a large-scale technical installation, promises a diverse range of challenges and opportunities for growth.

What you do on a typical day as Technician:

• Conducting routine maintenance and adjustments to minimize downtime
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in equipment and infrastructure
• Implementing technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
• Engaging in mechanical dismantling and rebuilding tasks
• Proactively managing repairs and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
  
  
  

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Technical education at MBO level, within Mechanical and Electrical field (mechatronics would be an added bonus) or experience in a similar role
• A service-oriented mindset and a knack for problem-solving
