Job summary

Arvato in Lelystad (Flevoland) is hiring a Technician to help ensure our equipment and technical installations remain safe, reliable and available. You will work with colleagues to identify and resolve issues and support the startup of the new location.

The role requires a practical, hands-on attitude, experience in a logistics/industrial setting or a technical education, and the ability to work in shifts. You will be part of the Technical Service team, contributing to a smooth, uninterrupted

At our new 80,000 m² Tech location in Lelystad, you’ll play an important role in keeping our logistics operation running smoothly. As a Technician, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where reliable installations and equipment are essential to our daily operations.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining equipment, resolving technical issues and carrying out preventive maintenance. Together with your colleagues, you’ll make sure technical problems are addressed quickly and that our operation can keep moving.

YOUR ROLE

As a Technician, you’ll help ensure that our equipment and technical installations remain safe, reliable and available. You’ll work closely with your colleagues to identify and resolve technical issues and prevent problems where possible.

Your responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical faults;
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on technical installations and equipment;
• Carrying out inspections and checks to identify potential issues at an early stage;
• Supporting colleagues with technical questions and challenges;
• Contributing ideas to improve equipment, processes and maintenance procedures;
• Recording maintenance activities and reporting technical issues;
• Working safely and according to applicable procedures and guidelines;
• Supporting the smooth start-up and development of the new location in Lelystad.

You’ll become part of the Technical Service team and work closely with colleagues across the operation. Together, you’ll make sure technical issues are resolved efficiently and that the logistics operation can continue without unnecessary interruptions.

• A gross monthly salary between €2,607 and €4,164 based on 40 hours, depending on experience;

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a practical and solution-oriented Technician who enjoys working in a logistics environment.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field;
• Experience as a technician is a plus, preferably in a logistics, warehouse or industrial environment;
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems;
• Able to troubleshoot problems and work independently when needed;
• Practical, hands‑on approach and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Willingness to work in shifts;
• You speak Dutch or English.
