Job summary

AWL in the Netherlands is seeking a Documentalist to translate machine specifications into clear, end-user manuals and related maintenance and safety instructions. You will be the main point of contact for documentation across projects and ensure accurate, complete content.

You will gather information from internal teams and international locations, work with multiple disciplines, and produce Dutch and English documentation (German a plus).

Qualifications

Technical background through education and/or experience.
Passion for writing and ability to simplify complex information.
Strong communication and proactive mindset.
Willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Experience writing technical documentation in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
Availability of 24–32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Create the overall machine description.
Collect information from within organization and international locations.
Develop maintenance instructions and procedures.
Create operator instructions for machine use.
Develop machine safety instructions and guidelines.
