Job summary

AWL-Techniek is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Intralogistics business unit in the Netherlands. You will design and develop mechanical concepts for smart logistical machines, from idea to full operation, and work with customers and suppliers worldwide.

You will participate in multidisciplinary project teams, test solutions, and contribute to design standards and improvements while collaborating closely with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Knowledge of industrial automation is considered an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience with 3D CAD and PDM systems.
• Flexibility, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical concepts and machines.
• Perform and/or coordinate concept testing.
• Prepare purchasing specifications.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and fellow engineers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of standards and designs.
