Job summary

JBT Marel in Boxmeer, Netherlands, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support and expertise to customers, regional teams and Field Service. You will be the reference for technical questions, ensure timely case handling, and maintain clear exchange of information between commercial and technical departments.

Qualifications

Educational background in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical- or Software engineering or equivalent working experience.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong technical background on high-level food processing equipment and control systems.
Proactive with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in field service or technical support is preferred.

Responsibilities

Solve cases online/remotely and decide follow-up actions per escalation process.
Advise internal stakeholders on technical solutions and case status.
Ensure field service debriefings are recorded and customer support is updated.
Update machine information in the Installed Base Management system.
Identify technical improvements with potential commercial opportunities.
Create and maintain service documentation (Info, Letters, Notices).
Monitor and coordinate technical feedback to identify structural issues.
Serve as central knowledge resource for regions and product groups.
