Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is seeking a Service Engineer in the Netherlands to support customers and installers and ensure reliable operation of PV, energy storage and EV charging solutions.

You will troubleshoot, commission remotely or on-site, collaborate with international teams, and coordinate inverter logistics while maintaining CRM records and delivering training. Fluent Dutch and English are essential, with a focus on renewable energy systems.

Qualifications

• State-certified electrician or equivalent technical qualification, ideally focused on photovoltaics or renewable energy.
• Fluent Dutch and business-fluent English.
• Good technical knowledge of PV systems, energy storage and EV charging solutions, especially in distribution/utility-scale contexts.
• Understanding of product specs, grid-code requirements, tender requirements and the competitive landscape.
• PV/renewable energy experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting and support to installers and customers via phone, email, and digital channels.
• Provide remote and on-site commissioning support when required.
• Collaborate with international and local teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Coordinate logistics and replacement of inverters, including dispatch and collection.
• Support qualification, onboarding and ongoing management of service partners.
• Ensure all customer cases and technical activities are documented in the CRM.
• Deliver technical training sessions to customers, installers and internal colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, processes and after-sales services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting customers and installers and ensuring the reliable operation of our PV, energy storage and EV charging solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Provide technical troubleshooting and support to installers and customers via phone, email and digital channels.
• Provide remote and on-site commissioning support when required.
• Work closely with international and local teams to diagnose and resolve technical and customer-related issues efficiently.
• Coordinate the logistics and replacement of inverters, including dispatch and collection activities.
• Support the qualification, onboarding and ongoing management of service partners.
• Ensure all customer cases and technical activities are accurately documented in the CRM system.
• Deliver technical training sessions to customers, installers and internal colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, processes and after-sales services, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback and satisfaction data to continuously improve the service
• State-certified electrician or equivalent technical qualification, ideally with a focus on photovoltaics, renewable energy or a related field.
• Fluent Dutch and business-fluent English.
• Good technical knowledge of PV systems, energy storage systems (BESS) and EV charging solutions, particularly within the distribution and/or utility-scale segments.
• Understanding of product specifications, grid-code requirements, tender requirements and the competitive landscape.
• Previous experience within the PV or renewable energy industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
