Job summary

Solplanet, part of AISWEI, seeks a Service Engineer in the Netherlands to troubleshoot, commission, and support PV inverters and energy solutions. You will collaborate across international teams to resolve issues and coordinate logistics for replacements.

The ideal candidate is a state-certified electrician fluent in Dutch and English, with PV/renewables knowledge and a proactive, customer‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• State-certified electrician with PV/renewable energy exposure.
• Fluent Dutch and business-fluent English; French is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting via phone or digital channels.
• Provide commissioning support remotely or on-site.
• Collaborate with international and local teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate logistics to dispatch inverters for replacement and collection.
• Support onboarding and management of new service partners.
• Document case information in CRM software.
• Deliver training to customers or colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve products and processes.

How you’ll help us:

As a Service Engineer,

• Provide technical troubleshooting support to installers and other customers via
• phone or digital channels
• Provide commissioning support (remote or on-site)
• Actively collaborate with international and local colleagues/departments to effectively
• resolve customer issues
• Plan and coordinate the logistics to dispatch inverters for replacement and assist in
• the collection of inverters
• Support the qualification, onboarding and management of new service partners
• Accurately document all relevant case information using CRM software
• Deliver training sessions to customers or internal colleagues
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve products and processes in order to
• improve customer satisfaction and company cost-effectiveness
• Regularly collect feedback such as customer satisfaction to assist in continuous
• improvement of the after sales process

Your background and skills:

• State-certified electrician, preferably specialized in photovoltaic technology, renewable energy, or a comparable field.
• Fluent in Dutch and business-fluent in English; French is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of the technical requirements for PV, energy storage systems,
• EV chargers in the distribution and/or utility scale segments, including product specifications, grid code requirements, competitive landscape, tender requirements etc.
• Ability to work independently and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Prior work experience in a PV related industry is not a necessity but will be an advantage
