Job summary

Huawei Europe in Rijswijk, Netherlands seeks a Customer Support Engineer to provide first-line technical support for PV inverters and energy storage systems. You will log cases, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to R&D when needed.

The role requires fluency in Dutch and English, strong communication skills, and a background in electrical engineering or related fields. Experience with PV systems and battery storage is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English mandatory; French advantageous.
• Experience in PV inverters, energy storage, UPS or power electronics preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Solid computer literacy including Microsoft Office and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and remote diagnostic tools, providing Level 1 support.
• Log cases and create service tickets according to Huawei procedures.
• Deliver first-line technical support for PV inverters and energy systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance issues.
• Escalate complex cases to second-level support or R&D teams.
• Document and analyze technical cases and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Assist with firmware updates and remote system configuration when required.
• Provide professional technical guidance to partners, installers, and end users, ensuring safety compliance.
