Orb is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Amsterdam to expand coverage across time zones. You will handle issues across support tiers, assist customers via Slack and email, and collaborate with Engineering on production issues.

The role requires in‑office presence 3x/week in Amsterdam with quarterly in‑person remote participation, and benefits from a hybrid, time-zone aware model. You will triage P0 issues, improve responsiveness, and help scale internal playbooks while becoming a deep

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a highly technical customer support role
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to write scripts or lightweight internal tools leveraging APIs
• Functional SQL knowledge and familiarity with AWS
• Experience programming in Python or TypeScript
• Autonomous with strong escalation judgment
• Willing to work from Europe to support global customers

Responsibilities

• Resolve inbound technical issues via SOPs and cross‑functional coordination
• Triage urgent issues and route escalations to engineering
• Define and report on support responsiveness and time‑to‑resolution
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Operations to improve tools and workflows
• Use data to drive continuous improvement across teams
• Create and maintain internal playbooks and knowledge base content
• Develop deep familiarity with the Orb platform and billing landscape
• Engage with stakeholders across billing, BizOps, PMs, finance, and executives
