We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager for our team in Schiedam/Netherlands who will play a key role in supporting our customers, preparing technical quotations, and ensuring a smooth and professional order process from inquiry to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Developing technical solutation and preparation of quotations
• Calculation of prices for service jobs, spare parts, modifications, and modernizations
• Identification of required spare parts and requesting quotations from subcontractors
• Providing professional technical advice and recommendation of suitable solutions to the customers
• Preparation of complete proposal packages and follow‑up on outstanding offers
• Identification of changes in customer needs and proactively suggesting improvements
• Response to customer inquires either in writing or over the phone
• Review, track and report on offers, orders and customer feedback
• Maintaining accurate sales‑related data in the respective tools
• Providing technical support to the Sales Team – also on‑site when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor in mechanical engineering or equivalent education/training
• Several years of professional experience and in‑depth knowledge in the field of piston compressors and systems
• Several years of experience in technical customer service, inside sales, or service coordination
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions in a clear and customer‑friendly way
• Hands‑on mindset, structured working style, and strong communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Good commercial and business understanding
• Willingness to travel and valid driving licence
• Valid work permit
