We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientedTechnicalProcurement Specialist to join our team and support the sourcing and procurement of technical components, materials, and servicesrequiredfor product development and manufacturing. Working closely with Engineering, Production, and Operations, you will translate technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies byidentifyingthe right suppliers, evaluating alternative components, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring thetimelyavailability of materials.
The ideal candidate combines strong procurementexpertisewith the technical aptitude to understand engineering requirements, reviewspecificationsand Bills of Materials (BOMs), and make informed purchasing decisions that balance quality, cost, lead time, and supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Project teams to understand technical requirements and source the most suitable components, materials, and services for development and manufacturing projects.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build andmaintainstrong supplier relationships by monitoring performance, resolving supply issues, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations to ensure material availability, support manufacturing schedules, and meet businessobjectives.
- Support the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to order placement and delivery tracking
- Analyze procurementspending,identifycost-saving opportunities, and prepare reports using ERP systems and procurement analytics tools.
- Support inventory optimization, demand planning, and supply continuity while contributing to process improvements and digital procurement initiatives.
Technical Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree inSupplyChainManagement, Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, orrelatedfield.
- 3–5 years of procurement orpurchasingexperience within a manufacturing, electronics, or high-tech environment.
- Ability to understand engineering specifications, technical documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Experience sourcing technical components and working closely with engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of supplierselection, sourcing strategies, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiencyin ERP systems such asDynamicsand/orSAP, with strong Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment whilemaintaininga continuous improvement mindset.
