Job summary

Langman Touw is seeking a commercially oriented professional to bridge technology and sales. You will advise customers, prepare quotations, and manage sales processes worldwide, with a focus on high-quality ropes and fibers including Dyneema®.

In this role you will interact daily with customers and colleagues by phone, email, and in the office. You will contribute to our family business’ continued growth in an international context.

Qualifications

• Completed (commercial) MBO education.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; proficient in German.
• Strong communication skills, social and commercially oriented.
• Accurate in administrative processes.
• Negotiation and persuasiveness.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers, relations and internal departments.
• Conduct telephone sales calls and advise customers.
• Welcome clients at the office and represent Langman at trade fairs.
• Prepare calculations for quotations and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain contact with transporters domestically and abroad.
• Temporarily take on management tasks when needed.
• Manage price lists, advertisements and website content.

As technical commercial employee You'll be the point of contact for our customers – not just in the Netherlands, but worldwide. You'll advise, prepare quotes, and ensure they receive the best ropes, cords, and lines. You'll also independently manage sales processes and assist management when needed.
