This role involves planning and organizing work independently, managing small-scale solution designs and implementations, and contributing as part of operational and wider project teams. What You Will Do

• Undertake assignments by analyzing customer requirements, gathering and evaluating data, and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Manage the design and implementation of small, low-risk technical solutions.
• Manage and monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices in accordance with best practices.
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• Provide guidance and technical leadership to team members within assignments to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate as part of a project team on larger solutions, ensuring smooth handover to support organizations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Attend customer meetings to understand requirements and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Ensure compliance with administrative processes and company guidelines.
• Act in accordance with Information Security policies and report any potential or actual security risks.

What You Will Need

• Graduate-level education or equivalent technical experience within the IT industry.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or administration, with a strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Proven experience with network security practices and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualized environments.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages would be perfect.
• Experience with LAN/WAN design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in using network monitoring and management tools such as Wireshark.
• Ability to contribute to technical solution designs and provide input into bids, projects, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of business benefits provided by technical solutions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team and demonstrate negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
