Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Consultant to support technology development and client engagements in Utrecht, Netherlands. Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular technology related reviews.
• Proactively support the development of new strategies and solutions.
• Support the pre‑sales process.
• Sell solutions and services as identified.
• Foster good relationships with clients, vendors and partners.
• Maintain, improve and share knowledge related to the information technology industry.
• Coach and train Associate and Senior Associate Consultants as required.
• Review and evaluate client requirements to advise on the design, deployment and operation of infrastructures.
• Support the development of solutions that define meta‑architectural designs for complex environments.
• Research and investigate emerging infrastructure technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal effectiveness by enhancing methodologies, processes and tools.
• Create technical designs that serve as the foundation for implementation.
• Configure and build complex solutions and provide technical support within projects.
• Design data centers, including defining required products and estimating effort.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product developments and test new products.
• Execute consultancy and advisory assignments independently.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Business Management or a related field.
• Scaled Agile certification desirable.
• Relevant consulting and technical certifications preferred (e.g., TOGAF).

Required Experience

• Advanced comprehensive technical experience in a similar role within a large‑scale (preferably multi‑national) technology services environment.
• Advanced multi‑technology infrastructure design experience.
• Advanced expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, including needs assessment and change management.
• Proven experience with IT infrastructures (minimum 8 years), including at least 4 years in data center and edge environments.
• Relevant product‑related and vendor certifications with strong hands‑on experience (e.g., Cisco UCS, Dell NetApp).
