Job summary

PwC Netherlands seeks a Manager Technology Deals (M&A) to lead IT-related aspects of buy- and sell-side transactions within the DDV team. You will advise corporate and private equity clients on technology strategy, due diligence, carve-outs, integration and synergies.

You will guide project teams, drive business development with Partners, and shape value creation through emerging digital tech, cloud, automation and AI.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in IT, either at an IT consulting firm, a Big 4 firm, or in a corporate IT strategy/transformation role.
• University degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Deal and M&A IT experience, whether in due diligence, carve-out, integration, or IT-enabled performance improvements.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); fluency in another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identifying innovation capabilities to support growing business needs (digital, platform, automation, AI and robotics, cloud adoption, etc.).
• Providing insight into the quality and effectiveness of IT through IT Due Diligence, including key opportunities and investment risks;
• Managing Technology M&A project teams across Due Diligence, Carve Out, Integration, and IT synergy or cost-saving assessments — shaping output and ensuring quality delivery;
• Proactively driving business development in collaboration with Partners and Directors, including follow-up on opportunities, leading pitch development, and identifying key insights;
• Creating value and growth opportunities driven by IT and digitally enabled performance improvements.
