Job description

Do you want to play a key role in strategic transformations where M&A and IT come together? Are you ready to advise leading corporates and private equity firms on the technology side of complex deals?

As Manager Technology Deals (M&A), you'll join our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team and focus on the IT aspects of M&A transactions, both pre- and post-deal. You'll work in a vibrant, ambitious, and international team within one of the most successful and fast-growing Deals practices in the Netherlands. A role that combines strategic depth, hands-on project leadership, and the opportunity to shape value creation through technology.

  • Available at 2 locations
This is what you’ll do

You’ll be part of an inclusive team within the PwC Deals practice and work on challenging and meaningful client engagements where your expertise truly matters. You’ll leverage the latest technology, including AI tools, and we actively encourage knowledge sharing through targeted coaching so you keep developing.

The M&A Technology team is part of Delivering Deal Value (DDV), supporting corporate and private equity clients in identifying, quantifying, and delivering full deal value. You'll work closely with colleagues focused on carve-outs and divestments, M&A integration, synergy development and review, and operational restructuring and rapid value creation. In your role, you’ll support clients on both buy-side and sell-side projects, helping them quickly form an opinion on the effectiveness of technology and its contribution to business objectives. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying innovation capabilities to support growing business needs (digital, platform, automation, AI and robotics, cloud adoption, etc.);
  • Providing insight into the quality and effectiveness of IT through IT Due Diligence, including key opportunities and investment risks;
  • Managing Technology M&A project teams across Due Diligence, Carve Out, Integration, and IT synergy or cost-saving assessments — shaping output and ensuring quality delivery;
  • Proactively driving business development in collaboration with Partners and Directors, including follow-up on opportunities, leading pitch development, and identifying key insights;
  • Creating value and growth opportunities driven by IT and digitally enabled performance improvements.
You recognize yourself in this

You combine a strong commercial mindset with excellent social and communication skills, and you know how to coach and motivate others. You deliver advice of board-level quality and bring sharp reporting skills, ideally from client-facing roles. In addition, you have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in IT, either at an IT consulting firm, a Big 4 firm, or in a relevant corporate IT strategy/transformation role (e.g. CIO department);
  • A University degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with clear affinity for emerging digital technologies and IT topics;
  • Deal and M&A IT experience, whether in due diligence, carve-out, integration, or IT-enabled performance improvements;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); fluency in another language is a plus.
What we offer

With us, you’ll have the chance to be yourself, perform at your best in a high-performance organization, and grow within our global network. We offer you, among other things:

  • A competitive salary based on your experience, an annual bonus (depending on results and personal development), and the opportunity to grow;
  • A motivating work environment where collaboration with ambitious colleagues and recognition for your contributions are central;
  • A wide range of tailored training via our AI-based Growth Center, linked to skills and goals and focused on professional growth and leadership development;
  • Choose the mobility option that suits you best: an electric lease car or a mobility allowance for your business travel costs, plus access to various mobility providers via one convenient app;
  • 32 vacation days and the option to purchase additional days;
  • At PwC, your well-being is our priority. That’s why we offer a personal well-being budget to help you grow in physical and mental health, as well as access to the well-being platform OpenUp;
  • You’ll work on challenging and meaningful client projects, use cutting-edge technology such as AI-tools, learn from the best, and receive support through coaching. Together, we work as an inclusive team to make a real impact;
  • You work at client locations and our office, with flexibility for hybrid working where possible;
