Job summary

Monday Merch is seeking a Technical Lead to own and shape our technology, guiding a seven-engineer team (including remote members) while staying hands-on across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.

You will drive technical excellence, scalability, and AI-enabled development in a fast-growing Dutch scale-up, collaborating closely with founders and delivering an innovative merch platform stack (Python/Odoo, Vue/Nuxt, GCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with frontend and backend.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Odoo) and Vue/Nuxt 3.
• Leadership experience mentoring engineers and guiding teams.
• Structured, strategic thinker with day-to-day execution discipline.
• Proven use of AI, automation, and LLMs to improve workflows.
• Excellent communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to key projects across backend, frontend, and infra.
• Translate long-term goals into concrete engineering tasks.
• Mentor a seven-strong team (including remote members).
• Improve performance, security, and maintainability at scale.
• Leverage AI/automation to boost productivity and coding efficiency.
• Own and guide products: Merch Platform, Shop, ERP.
