Job summary

Suitsupply, Amsterdam, is building its software on a distributed event-driven architecture with 100+ engineers. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead several teams, drive autonomy, and own software delivery that meets real business needs.

You will grow engineers, shape long-term tech direction, and collaborate with Architects, Product Owners and Directors. Join us to scale from startup to mature organisation while maintaining speed.

Qualifications

• Several years leading scrum and agile teams of 5+ engineers.
• Computer science degree or hands-on development background.
• Strong engineering foundation across multiple languages (hands-on coding not required).
• Experience in an international environment and ability to switch between technical and business talks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach multiple engineering teams, fostering autonomy and ownership.
• Own delivery of software that meets real business needs and customers.
• Grow engineers through development plans and knowledge sharing.
• Shape long-term tech and product direction with other managers and leaders.
• Cut complexity and simplify existing systems during scale.
