Job summary

Trinamics is seeking a Team Lead High-Tech to direct a team of Failure Analysis Engineers, ensuring high standards of quality, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and drive ongoing improvements across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing people for at least 1 year.
• Must reside in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Failure Analysis Engineers.
• Monitor KPIs related to quality, service efficiency, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer requests, root cause analyses, repairs, and upgrades.
• Own complex technical escalations and coordinate solutions.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to improve service processes.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Support professional and technical development of team members.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Manage team capacity, resources, tools, equipment, and inventory.

Job description

As Team Lead High-Tech, you will lead a team of Failure Analysis Engineers and take responsibility for the performance, quality, and efficiency of customer service operations for key customers. You will ensure that technical issues are resolved effectively and on time, while driving continuous improvement and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Working at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer relations, you will collaborate with engineers, account teams, lifecycle management, and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues, improve service processes, and ensure optimal product performance throughout the product lifecycle.

Please note: You must already be living in the Netherlands and have at least one year of demonstrable experience leading or managing people. Also this role is in a 2 shift roster.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Failure Analysis Engineers.
• Monitor team performance and drive KPIs related to quality, service efficiency, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the timely and effective handling of customer requests, including root cause analyses, repairs, and upgrades.
• Take ownership of complex technical escalations and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to identify and implement improvements in customer service processes.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Coach team members and support their professional and technical development.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
• Manage team capacity, resources, tools, equipment, and inventory to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Work closely with Quality Engineers, Customer Account Teams, Lifecycle Management, and other internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.

What you bring

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, such as Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of demonstrable experience leading or managing people. This must be based on actual experience, not solely academic projects or theoretical knowledge.
• You must already be living in the Netherlands.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate, guide, and develop a diverse technical team while maintaining high service and quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
• The ability to remain effective under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willing to work on a 2 shift roster.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
