Job summary

Transact Risk Partners, a market-leading tax insurance MGA in Amsterdam, offers an internship starting January 2027 for at least six months. You will join the Tax team and assist with research, document reviews, and the preparation of insurance policy files.

As part of the role, you will help prepare client presentations and marketing materials, with English drafting as a key skill. Fluency in English is required; insurance law knowledge is not mandatory.

About Transact Risk Partners

Transact Risk Partners is a specialty transactional insurance Managing General Agent. The firm analyses legal and tax risks arising from acquisitions, disposals and mergers, including risks associated with breaches of representations and warranties contained in sale and purchase agreements (SPAs), and designs tailored insurance solutions for each transaction.

The tax team is primarily composed of tax lawyers. The team regularly works on transactions governed by Dutch, French, Belgian, Luxembourg, Polish, Italian and German law.

Your role

As part of the Tax team, you will be closely involved in all aspects of the projects and your tasks will include:

• Carrying out research in Tax Law;
• Reviewing legal documentation: purchase agreements, data room documents, due diligence reports, information memoranda, etc.;
• Preparing files for the issuance of insurance policies based on a review of corporate documentation: entering information in CRM software, preparing Authorities and Non-Binding Offers (commercial offers), drafting insurance policies, etc.;
• Assisting the team in preparing client presentations and other marketing materials (brochures, conferences, etc.).

Candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate who is currently pursuing or has recently completed a Master's Degree in Law and who:

• Has a solid understanding of Tax Law;
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment;
• Is motivated, proactive and eager to work in an international setting;
• Possesses strong analytical and drafting skills in English; and
• Is proficient in standard office and IT applications.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Prior knowledge of insurance law is not required, as our work is primarily focused on Tax matters.
