Capgemini in Utrecht is seeking a Tax Specialist/Manager to join a small tax team of four, reporting to the Tax Director. The role covers Wage Tax, VAT, and broader corporate tax issues across the Benelux with on‑the‑job learning and cross‑functional exposure.
You will advise on employment tax and VAT, support SAP S/4HANA/e-invoicing projects, and help manage the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg tax compliance, audits, and due diligence in M&A contexts.
At the Capgemini office in Utrecht, The Netherlands, a new position has arisen for a Tax Specialist/Manager who will report hierarchically into the Tax Director. Being part of a small Tax team, responsible for the Benelux region, that consists of 4 people (including this position), you will work closely with the Tax Director, Tax Manager and Tax Specialist. Coming from a specific tax specialization, in this role the Tax Specialist/Manager will be able to develop into an all-round Tax professional, with a lot of ‘on the job’ learning in other tax fields. Although the role has a main focus on Wage Tax and/or VAT, the responsibilities stretch from (inter)national Corporate Income Tax, to advising on a broad range of VAT and Employment Tax topics and managing the tax compliance processes, as the tax team wants to be able to support and/or replace each other when required.

Candidate
You have a Dutch tax degree, and you have 2-5 years of experience at an advisory firm or multinational environment. Experience with Employment Tax or VAT is a must, whereas any prior exposure to (Dutch) Corporate Income Tax and Tax Compliance is considered a big plus, although it can be gained on the job as well. You will need to have a flexible mindset to be able to cope with ever changing situations, in addition to a hands‑on mentality. Last but not least, you are a team player with excellent communication skills, and you are fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing).
