Job summary

Taxture Global, a leading firm based in Zuidas, is expanding its legal department with lawyers specialized in Corporate Law or M&A. This role offers broad responsibilities, including attending board meetings, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and drafting key corporate documents.

• Master’s in Dutch Law completed.
• Act as a lawyer with Dutch qualification.

Responsibilities

Taxture, as a top-tier firm in Zuidas, has built a strong reputation in taxation and notarial work for multinationals operating internationally from or through the Netherlands. Due to increasing demand and connection with Andersen Global, a legal department has been set up with lawyers. Through this avenue, Taxture aims to offer complete services for all its multinational and large clients with an international DNA, from advice to the actual implementation, with corresponding legal consequences.

To further expand this team of lawyers, we are looking for a Lawyer specializing in Corporate Law or M&A, with 4 to 6 years of experience. If you want to use your knowledge and experience from major international law firms to assist our international clients with legal advice and closely follow developments in your field, then you are the Lawyer that Taxture is looking for!

Your Role

In this versatile role as a Lawyer specializing in Corporate Law or M&A, you play a crucial role within the organization. You will attend board meetings, providing strategic advice and participating in management decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for legal documentation and/or legal advice in mergers & acquisitions. You will also be involved in drafting and advising on joint venture agreements and providing advice on various corporate law and corporate governance-related matters. Your role encompasses all aspects of corporate law. It is essential that you can work independently so that the partners can entrust you with the legal issues of their clients.

This is a new position, giving you plenty of space to shape the role and meet with clients. You will also have extensive contact with other disciplines within Taxture, such as tax and notarial services. You will accompany the tax specialists to clients, where you will identify opportunities and risks and map out possibilities for up- and cross-selling to further expand the legal department.

In this role, you will be one of the points of contact for legal issues, advising, for example, multinationals entering the Dutch market or involved in mergers & acquisitions. You assist organizations with your legal knowledge and know when to make adjustments. If necessary, you will represent clients in disputes related to business and contracts.

As it is a young legal department, it is important that you enjoy setting up something new, are flexible in dealing with opportunities & developments, are decisive, and have a broad range of skills. You will also communicate about all developments and improvement points regarding the establishment of this department.

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum completed Master’s in Dutch Law;
• You can act as a lawyer;
• 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience;
• Affinity with Corporate Law & Contract Law;
• You enjoy being involved in high-profile M&A transactions and restructurings;
• Experience in advising and litigation;
• Experience in drafting contracts is a plus;
• Customer- and service-oriented;
• Team player and organizationally sensitive;
• Communicatively proficient in Dutch and English;
• Social and commercially inclined.

Previous experience at a top-10 law or tax advisory firm is a plus.
